My current faves

Ahh the moment you’ve all been waiting for… some honest reviews about products!

If my husband is reading this, please stop here. 🙂

I spend way too much on products as well as many other things, don’t we all?!… No?… just me?… Ok, but spending a lot means you try a lot! Today I’m sharing my favorite face products-

Face Wash:

Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser

This stuff is amazing! I don’t usually buy things more than once, except perfume usually but, that’s easy. I am on my second tube of this wash and I am addicted. I have combination skin but it gets dry very easily, more so in the winter. The face wash I was using before this was okay (Philosophy Purity Made Simple) but my skin always felt tight after using it. I received a sample of this and loved it. It has a very pleasant light scent, I would say it’s almost unscented. And best of all, it works! It cleans all of my makeup off, tried and true removal of wedding makeup. Of course, everyone’s skin is different but if you can get your hands on a sample or a small bottle, I recommend trying it. In case you didn’t know- anytime you change your skincare routine you will most likely breakout but, if you stick with it for a few days your skin will usually relax and stop being so dramatically against change. This face wash is $26 at Sephora for the 5oz size.

Face Cream:

Belif Peat Miracle Revival Cream

This stuff is my jam! I am now on my THIRD jar and I plan to buy it again and again! I swear I don’t usually buy products more than once but here is a second product that has made the cut. This past winter I tried Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream but I did not like it at all, I actually felt it made my skin drier than usual and it stung when I used it. After that, I switched to Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb which was okay but it wasn’t working any miracles for me. But this stuff right here, leaves my skin feeling soft and supple, it really feels like it makes a noticeable difference for my skin. I absolutely love it! It is pretty pricey but in my opinion, totally worth it. Luckily, a little goes a long way! This is $58 at Sephora for the 1.68oz size.

These are the only 2 products that I use daily for my face care routine so I guess the price doesn’t come out that bad. Other than these, sometimes I use masks or a toner but not sure I love anything else enough to share them just yet.

Extras:

Perfume: Michael Kors Sexy Amber. I use a different perfume almost every day but I do have my go-to’s. This is my current fave. I am on my second bottle since receiving it as a gift from my mom.

TV: We are currently watching Ozark, season 2. So far, so good. If you like crime shows/drama, this is a good one on Netflix. Reality TV shows that we are currently watching (whether we like to admit it or not) are- 90 Day Fiance on TLC, Jersey Shore Family Vacation (no judgement, please), and America’s Got Talent. AGT is my favorite competition show and the only one I still watch but, I will say that I have been a little upset with the voting this season (Mochi and Hans, anyone?!).

Movies: Recently we have seen Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, BlacKKKlansman, and Christopher Robin. All very different movies and we liked them all! I really liked Christopher Robin. After all, I am a Pooh lover I mean, my cat is named Tigger (because Tiggers are wonderful things!). Christopher Robin was really sweet; we brought our 6 and 7 year old boys to see it and they liked it too! I liked the story line a lot, about how we often find ourselves so busy with work that we lose our inner child and often times, we end up missing out on living life. Nice little reminder to try to live in the moment! ❤
